Part 3 of Psychology in the Light of the East introductory video series is now available on YouTube
Very early in life, the author set out on a quest for truth: the truth about who we are, who we can become and how to get there. Interwoven throughout Psychology in the Light of the East is the story of Margot Borden’s quest for truth. It seemed as if each school of thought, psychology and religion provided a facet of truth, but also, blind spots and limitations. Sri Aurobindo’s Integral Yoga Psychology and Ken Wilber’s Integral Psychology, each in their own way, provided understandings, frameworks and suggested means of reaching out toward our infinite possibilities. They come to form the foundation of Borden’s philosophy and practice of psychotherapy.
Published in January 2o17 (Rowman & Littlefield, NY), this book will speak to psychologists and other helping professionals, students of psychology and those interested in psychological and spiritual development, yoga philosophy and east-west thought.
