A Therapy Intensive is an opportunity to set aside time for your healing. Whether you are experiencing a personal crisis or making a deep or difficult change in your life, the Therapy Intensive can help you address the issue quickly and effectively.
We draw on a variety of therapeutic approaches, based on your needs and nature, to help you work through the areas of suffering, regain your stability and perspective.
We will work with you to develop a wholesome and sustainable way of being so that you can move forward and avoid relapsing into old, destructive attitudinal and behavioural patterns.

What are the benefits of an Individualized Therapy Intensive?

How does it work?
We will start with a scheduled online consultation where you can explain your situation and needs. I will propose a therapeutic course of action involving both talk therapy and a range of psycho-spiritual or holistic healing modalities to:
1) create an environment that is safe, nurturing and healing and suits your needs, nature and budget,
2) identify and heal the root cause of your suffering,
3) help you find and restore emotional, mental and spiritual balance, and
4) establish a recovery plan that will ensure a more sustainable lifestyle upon returning home after the Intensive.
A Therapy Intensive requires setting a timeframe based on your needs and availability. The minimum time for an Intensive is four days. Depending on your needs and availability, you might find it useful to set aside up to 18 days for your Intensive.
During this time, it is suggested to keep outer distractions and work to a bare minimum so you can rest, rejuvenate and focus on your healing.
What happens during the retreat?
During your retreat, we will meet and work together 2-5 hours per day. There will be time for talk therapy but also deeper, more holistic work that allows you to identify and heal the core causes of your suffering. This work could involve mindfulness-based self-exploration (self-acceptance), breathwork (emotional uncovering and healing), past-life regression (healing deep-seated wounds and blockages), inner dialogue (self-understanding, self acceptance), family constellation (healing emotional wounds and mental imbalances stemming from childhood trauma or dysfunctional families) and other psycho-spiritual and mind-body healing techniques.
You will be encouraged to sleep and rejuvenate, spend time in nature and do introspective exercises like journaling.
Our trusted team of yoga teachers and energetic healers can be available to provide yoga, energetic healing and other restorative and healing techniques.
How long are the sessions?
It is recommended to plan your retreat for a minimum of 4 days and a maximum of 18 days to allow the time and space needed to establish a safe and healing space, let the body, mind and nervous system rejuvenate and do deep emotional and spiritual healing work.
Each day, we will work together for at least one hour of talk therapy and at least one deeper session such as therapeutic breathwork, past life regression or mindfulness-based self-exploration.
If necessary the therapist can be on call 24/7.
It is also possible to include yoga and various forms of energetic healing in your retreat.
Your Therapy Intensive will allow you to do very deep healing work. By helping you identify and heal the core causes of your suffering, you can regain your perspective and grasp on your life. We will work with you to transform the attitudes or behaviours that caused or added to the crisis.
Our aim is for you to return back to your daily life feeling rejuvenated, refreshed, healed, balanced and empowered with insights and tools to help you re-integrate into your life in a way that is wholesome and sustainable. We highly recommend scheduling online follow-ups every 7-14 days to support you in sustaining your newfound well-being and fine-tune your strategy for maintaining a wholesome, fulfilling and meaningful approach to life.
